Pushing in the release plate over-rides the automatic locking so you can use Superjaws as a powerful press for bearings, sprockets, shafts, etc.
As well, the heavy duty front jaw can be used as an anvil, for shaping or bending material.

Bolt-on jaws for heavy duty metal work.
Manufactured from strong ductile cast iron, shaped to increase grip on pipe or bar, (up to 50mm, 2" diameter) with an anvil face for heavy metal work.
Log and Pole Gripping Jaws
The teeth give a tenacious grip whenever chain sawing, drilling, sawing or rebating timber logs up to 250mm (10") in diameter.
