Designed specifically for squaring off the corners of routed hinge recess, it has a 10mm square blade which is precision ground with a 35 degree bevel on each face, made of A2 tool steel & hardened to Rc60. Accuracy is ensured by use of the guide block, its two rare-earth magnets hold the chisel square, while the outside faces of the block register against the routed pocket. A tap on the chisel cuts the corner square & flush.
