Many find it hard to set equipment for a square cut; they simply give up on pentagons, hexagons, octagons etc. This gauge can be used to set table saws, jointers, radial arm saws, bandsaws & drill presses. Used flat, the gauge is ideal for setting mitre fences or for layout work.
